Electriclarryland (Butthole Surfers album). Stand name. (A/N: I can't find anything online about this, but I'm half convinced Electriclarryland is a parody album. "Pepper" is Beck's "Loser," "TV Star" is verbatim "Hungry Heart" by Bruce Springsteen, "Jingle of a Dog's Collar" is Lou Reed, etc. Also the album name itself.)
Welcome to Paradise (Green Day song). Character name (Paradizo). (A/N: I came up with the idea for this as a character name in early 2020 before deciding on the music reference. The song turned out to fit perfectly.)
Alligator Pie (Dave Matthews Band song). Character name (Stella Grace). (A/N: Stella and Grace are Dave Matthews' two daughters. He wrote a song called "Grace is Gone," and the chorus of "Alligator Pie" references Stella asking to be put in a song of her own.)
REM (band). Organization name (W-REM radio station).
High Hopes (Frank Sinatra song). Location name (High Hopes Batting Cage. (A/N: A reference to former Philadelphia Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas, who sang this song after they won the World Series in 2008. Go Phils!)
Les Claypool (Primus frontman). Character name (Ignatius Claypool). (A/N: Also a reference to John Kennedy Toole's "A Confederacy of Dunces." Great book.)
